Independence in digital work: freedom and high standards

Since 2015, I have worked independently in digital: I design websites and mobile applications for an international clientele. Choosing independence was no accident; it extends a way of living and working that has always been mine.

Choosing independence

Being independent means answering personally for every project, from the first conversation to the launch. There is no intermediary to hide behind: the quality of the result directly commits the person who designed it. I see this less as a constraint than as a form of honesty towards those who place their trust in me.

Clients without borders

A childhood spent travelling, three years in the United States, and then the discovery of almost every country in the world taught me to work with people from very different cultures. My language studies help me every day: understanding exactly what a client expects, in their language and according to their customs, is the first step of any successful project.

Care for detail

A website or an app is often judged on details: the legibility of a text, the smoothness of a screen on a phone, the consistency of a colour from one page to the next. These details go almost unnoticed when they are right, yet they are noticed at once when they are missing. They are what I devote the most attention to.

One activity among others

Digital work is not my only activity: I also run Cardelli Jean-Witold Estate LTD, my real estate holding company. The two echo each other: in both, the aim is to build something lasting, with rigour and patience.
